Terms of Use
Short, because the app is simple: you buy it once, it's yours to use, and your content is yours entirely.
Effective July 16, 2026 · Quiet Pilot for iOS · Stratford Meridian Labs LLC
The agreement
Quiet Pilot is distributed through Apple's App Store under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement it; where they conflict, Apple's EULA controls for App Store matters.
Your purchase
Quiet Pilot is a one-time purchase that licenses you to use the app on devices signed into your Apple ID, per Apple's usual rules. Updates are included. Payment, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple (see Support for the refund route).
Your content
Recordings, transcripts, and notes you create with Quiet Pilot are yours. They are stored on your device; we never receive them and claim no rights over them. You are responsible for what you record — obey the recording-consent laws that apply where you are.
Reasonable-use things
- Don't use the app to violate the law, including recording people where consent is required and absent.
- Don't attempt to extract, redistribute, or resell the bundled or downloaded AI models outside the app; they remain governed by their own licenses.
- The app produces AI-shaped text from your speech. Review important notes before relying on them — on-device models are capable, but they can mishear or misphrase.
Warranty & liability
Quiet Pilot is provided "as is," without warranties beyond those that cannot be disclaimed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stratford Meridian Labs LLC's total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
