Quiet Pilot is built by a small team. There's no ticket portal and no chatbot — your email lands in our inbox, a person reads it, and we usually reply within one business day.

Email hello@stratfordmeridianlabs.com — include your iPhone model and iOS version if you're reporting a problem. Because the app collects no data, we genuinely can't see what went wrong on your device; a short description of what you did and what you expected helps enormously.
Common questions
The app is asking to download a large file. What is it?
That's the on-device AI: the Whisper speech-recognition model and a ~2.4 GB language model. They download once, on Wi-Fi if you prefer, and from then on everything runs on your phone — that download is the price of never sending your voice to a server. Make sure you have a few gigabytes of free storage.
Which iPhones does it run on?
Quiet Pilot's language model needs recent Apple silicon — an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. On older devices the App Store won't offer the app.
Words aren't appearing while I speak.
Check that Quiet Pilot has microphone permission (Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone). If the transcript appears only after you press Stop, force-quit the app and try again — and if it persists, email us; that's a bug we want to hear about.
Where are my notes stored? Are they backed up?
Notes live in the app's private storage on your iPhone and are included in your normal device backup (iCloud or computer), under settings you control. Nothing is stored on our servers — we don't have servers.
I deleted a note by mistake.
Open Recently Deleted in the app. Deleted notes stay there for 30 days before being permanently removed.
Can I get my notes out of the app?
Yes — every note can be shared or exported as text or Markdown from the share button. Your notes are never locked in.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for Quiet Pilot. Apple decides refunds directly; we can't override them, but if something in the app let you down, tell us anyway — we'd like to fix it.
Will there be a subscription later?
No. Quiet Pilot is a one-time purchase, and updates are included. If we ever build something genuinely separate, it will never convert your purchase into rent.
